#WalkWithCaroline in our Enfield to Southend Virtual Challenge
Starting from Monday 29 March, over 100 people will be taking part in our Enfield to Southend Virtual Walk. If you would like to know more about the challenge, including information on how to sign up, please click here.
If you are taking part in the challenge, please read all of the information below!
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Starting from Monday 29 March, you have one week to collectively walk 48 miles as a team. 48 miles equates to the total distance from Caroline’s hometown of Enfield, to her favourite place to spend time - Southend Pier. The challenge will end at 11:59pm on Sunday 4 April. Don’t forget, if you haven’t donated to the official challenge page you can do so now via the button below!
TRACKING YOUR WALKS: How you choose to track the distance on your walks is up to you! If you wish to use an app, there are a few free options that you can choose from. Check out these as a good starting point:
SUBMITTING RESULTS: Please keep a log of the total distance that each individual in your team has walked, as well as an overall team total throughout the week. At the end of the challenge, please email info@carolinespathfinders.com and send us your results so that we can see how you got on.
SHARING YOUR WALKS: We can’t wait to see you all take on this incredible challenge, so throughout the week please take lots of photos and share them on social as you go! Tag our charity page (@carolinespathfinders) and use our official challenge hashtag #WalkWithCaroline - we’d love to see.
To help you with your challenge, why not create a Whatsapp group with your team so that you can share your progress and updates as you go?
WIN PRIZES AS YOU WALK
To help keep you motivated and excited as you take on your challenge, we thought it would be great to incorporate some competitions into the week. These aren’t compulsory, don’t worry! But if you are interested then we challenge you to the following:
Take a photo wearing as much purple as possible
Take a photo of something exciting or interesting that you find on your walk
Take a photo that will make us laugh
The winners of the above photo competitions will win a prize from the Caroline’s Pathfinders team! Send us your entries to info@carolinespathfinders.com and don’t forget to share on social by tagging @carolinespathfinders and use #WalkWithCaroline.
